Noni is Nervous by Heather Hartt-Sussman

514xNtTipsL._SL500_AA300_This is a GREAT book about the first day of school and how traumatic it is for most children.

Noni is nervous about a lot of things.  But she is mostly nervous about the first day of school. She has no idea what she will wear or where she will sit.  She is worried that her teacher may be mean.  Oh…there is so so much to think about!

In this beautifully written and heart warming sequel to Heather’s first book entitled Noni Says No, Noni faces many different situations that make her nervous. And while her family is worried about her and offer all kinds of wonderful advice, Noni is finally able to resolve her very own struggles with some surprising results.

The illustrations are very playful and brightly vivid.  It will help all kids to overcome the first day of school jitters.
