Little Chipmunk’s Wiggly, Wobbly Tooth by Mary Packard

610hLHreWCL._SL500_AA300_[1]This is probably one of the cutest picture books that I have read so far this year–and I read a LOT of picture books!

What child wouldn’t be able to relate to having a lose tooth!  The little chipmunk struggles with the same problem. He doesn’t want to lose his tooth because he doesn’t want people laughing at him. The little chipmunk is beside himself.  He has problems eating, he is always looking in the mirror, and the little tooth seems to be getting looser and looser!

So, he goes to the dentist to find out what he could do about it. The dentist gives him some GREAT news. She tells him that all kids lose their teeth when they are small and that his tooth will grow. He is so relieved that he comes home ready to celebrate. And when his little tooth falls out, he accepts it and has fun anyways.

What a GREAT story for kids 3 and up.  The illustrations are wonderful as well.  They are bright and they are so adorable.
