The book is about a little girl who goes for a walk during the night. She hops off the porch and feels the air warming her legs and messing her hair. It is an enchanting picture book, one that will transport a child into the outdoors with the little girl.  She goes out and catches fireflies in a jar.  She catches, one, two, three, four, five fireflies. Her jar looks like a light bulb!  They are so beautiful! She races to show Daddy all of her fireflies.  But they she has to let them go again and so she says goodbye to each one.

The book also has an information sheet about fireflies that kids could use to get to know more about fireflies.
