An Inspiring Picture Book for Kids Who Have Divorced Parents

By Marian De Smet
Illustrated by Nynke Talsma

This is a loving and enchanting picture book. It is a must-read for all kids of divorced or separated parents. The book will open up a much needed discussion between kids and parents who are separating.

In the story, Nina realizes that it isn’t the end of the world when her parents split up. Suddenly, she had two homes, and two places where she could celebrate her birthday, and enjoy holidays and activities at two different homes.

This book will help kids realize that there are some benefits to living in two homes, and having two loving parents. The illustrations are sensitive and they bring the text to life and make it very engaging for kids. My niece loved the book.
