Book Review for Karen Cioffi’s WOI Tour

Day’s End Lullaby
Karen Cioffi and Robyn Feltman

This is a great little picture book for young children. Karen had first-hand experience with a sleepless child. Thus, the inspiration for the book came from this experience. When Karen sang this lullaby, the baby usually fell asleep. So, she was encouraged to write it up into a children’s book. The book could be hummed, sang, or simply read to the child at night before bed. It is so soothing, and the words so wonderfully rhythmical, that it is difficult for any child not to feel at peace and sleepy after hearing these words read or sung.

I recommend this book for all parents with kids who have difficulty sleeping. This book will not only help them fall asleep but it will help Mom feel refreshed the next day as well. It is an endearing and enchanting book that can be read and re-read many times.
