On the Go with Children’s Author, Dacia Moore

Welcome to day five of Dacia Moore’s 6-day NWFCC April Author Showcase tour and find out where you can meet her

I love to give training workshops on using the strategies in my book to help teachers and counselors improve their effectiveness with difficult students. However, it’s human nature to revert to the ‘same behavior’ when you return to your school. That is why I include my book – Why Are So Many Students So Angry? as an integral part of the training package. Participants have the benefit of the written word right in front of them and can take notes from my training in the appropriate chapter sections. This strategy helps teachers and school counselors be more intentional about incorporating the new strategies in to their daily routine and will result in more learning for the participant and reduced classroom disruptions for the student.
