On the Go With Children’s Author Donna McDine

Welcome to day five of Donna McDine’s 6-day National Writing For Childrens Center April Author Showcase tour.

Irene, I’m thrilled to be joining you today on my 5th day of my NWFCC April Author Showcase.

It’s so great to have your here Donna.  You are such an inspiring and talented writer.  My readers love your books.

The last year has been a whirlwind since the release of The Golden Pathway in August 2010. Since the release I’ve participated in:

· Guardian Angel Publishing events, St. Louis, MO – September 17-18, 2010: St. Louis, MO

· Publishing with a Small Press author’s panel at The Ferguson Library, Stamford, CT – September 25, 2010

· 15th Annual Rockland Literacy Extravaganza, Sparkill, NY – October 16, 2010

· Virtual Book Tour – September and October 2010 – coordinated by Pump Up Your Book Promotion

· Children’s author “meet and greet” at the Tappan Library, Tappan, NY – January 17, 2011

· “Book Bites for Kids” and “Hot Radio Now” Internet radio interviews

· St. Dominic School Visit – Friday, April 8, 2011

What’s planned for the future?

· Meet and greet the local author’s event at the Piermont Library, Piermont, NY – Date to be determined for either October or November
