This is an important picture book about how to value another person and learn to get along. We are all different from each other to a certain extent. We can celebrate these differences instead of criticizing them.
This is an important message in our cultural times. Multiculturalism is here to stay, and so the sooner kids learn to get along with each other, the better.
I loved this book from beginning to end, and so did my niece. I took out all of Cheri Meiners’ books one weekend and read them together. When she went home, she asked her Mom to buy them for her. I am so glad that Mom said yes!
