A cute picture book about reaching out and giving (49)

This is an important picture book about telling the truth. Kids are not encouraged enough to tell the truth. Many kids don’t tell the truth to avoid the consequences of their behavior.

Honesty requires respect for yourself and for others. It involves taking responsibility for your actions and being fair to others. When kids learn the importance of honesty, they will develop he character traits of courage, dependability, and unselfishness. These are all great things for kids to learn as early as possible.

I loved this book from beginning to end, and so did my niece. I took out all of Cheri Meiners’ books one weekend and read them together. When she went home, she asked her Mom to buy them for her. I am so glad that Mom said yes!
