This is a great picture book about perseverance and rolling with the punches.
This story is about Pete who goes to school in his red rocking school shoes. He encounters challenges. But does Pete ever worry? No never!!!!! Pete has never been to the library, but he doesn’t worry. He goes in and reads his book looking natural. Then he goes into the noisy lunchroom to eat. Does he worry? No way. He sings his song and starts eating at a table, again as naturally as possible.
What a great message for kids! We all worry way too much about small things. This takes a lot of energy and effort away from us. We should concentrate on being ourselves and natural. And most of all we should try to have fun!
