This is a great and empowering nonfiction picture book for kids. It is about manners and how kids can learn to be kind and polite with adults, in families, at school, and in their community.
It is important for kids to learn good manners from a very early age. Our culture doesn’t do a good enough job to instill wholesome values. If movies do anything, they profess questionable values. So, writers and teachers as well as parents have to pick up the slack.
When kids are polite with one another, it can set an example and encourage others to be polite too. This positive affect can help kids to feel more empowered to cope in today’s world.
