#9 – A GREAT picture book with a wonderful message

This book is about the perils of comparison. Rosie is always comparing herself to Violet. Violet is good at everything. She runs well, sings beautifully, looks the best, and talks the loudest. Rosie is jealous and feels very out of place because of all of this. However, when Rosie has a chance to excel, she grabs it. She leans a lot of important lessons in the meantime.

The illustrator also did a great job illustrating this picture book. The expressions on the kids faces really bring the points home for the reader.

My niece fell in love with the book. She wants to be like violet and excel at everything.

What a great and uplifting message for kids!
